Exion. A new frontier in combating ageing.
ABOUT EXION
AI-driven precision technology for tailored ageing treatments
As part of your profoundly personal aesthetic journey to reinvention, Doctor Shammi tailors Exion treatments to your unique genetic aspect. Often layered with complementary devices, this AI-driven technology was designed to deliver advanced performance to preserve facial integrity. Exion offers two
types of application for skin rejuvenation.
RF Microneedling improves skin texture, stimulates collagen and tightens the skin. Unlike manual microneedling, the AI-driven technology controls needle depth and energy delivery precisely across different skin layers. This precision protects the skin barrier, reducing the risk of rebound pigmentation, rosacea, or acne, making it a safer and more effective approach for delicate skin.
Exion Face is a dual-energy system combining ultrasound and radiofrequency to boost hyaluronic acid
production up to 222%, enhancing hydration and overall skin health.
EXION TREATMENT
THE PROCESS
The Consultation
You will have an in-clinic consultation with Dr Shammi to assess your skin and determine suitability for Exion. This consultation is essential, as it is where your personalised treatment protocol is prescribed, including selection of the most appropriate handpiece from the four available, based on your clinical needs and treatment goals. As Exion is a novel technology, the consultation also provides an opportunity to understand how it works and how it aligns with your desired outcomes.
Dr Shammi will also determine whether Exion is the most appropriate modality for your long-term treatment plan, or whether alternative or combination-based technologies may better support your goals. In many cases, Exion is integrated within a broader treatment framework to optimise results, and this consultation defines that overall approach.
Your medical history and skincare routine are also reviewed, with adjustments recommended where appropriate. Follow-up appointments are arranged prior to your departure.
The consultation fee may be credited toward treatment, subject to terms and conditions.
The Treatment
Dr Shammi prescribes Exion as part of a structured treatment plan, selecting the most appropriate protocol based on one of the four clinical outcomes the platform is designed to deliver: skin tightening, collagen remodelling, textural refinement, and targeted dermal rejuvenation.
Exion utilises advanced RF-based technology to deliver controlled, AI-supported energy into the skin, stimulating dermal repair and regenerative processes at a precise depth. The specific parameters, including handpiece selection, energy delivery, and treatment mapping, are fully individualised and defined during your consultation.
Your treatment plan, including the number of sessions and intervals, is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on your clinical presentation and how your skin responds over time.
Where appropriate, additional modalities may be incorporated within the same session to optimise outcomes, particularly for concerns such as redness, visible capillaries, or underlying vascular changes. These combinations are clinically directed and included where indicated.
Each session is approximately 75 minutes and includes VISIA imaging to objectively monitor progress and treatment response over time.

FAQ
Q: Who is Exion suitable for?
A: Exion is suitable for most clients experiencing early to moderate signs of ageing, skin laxity, or general skin quality concerns. Suitability is confirmed through a clinical assessment with Dr Shammi, where a personalised treatment plan is prescribed based on your skin type and individual concerns.
Q: Can Exion be used on darker skin types?
A: Yes. Exion can be suitable for darker skin types when appropriately prescribed. Dr Shammi will carefully assess for conditions such as melasma and determine the correct settings to ensure treatment is delivered safely and effectively for your skin profile.
Q: What concerns does Exion treat?
A: Exion is used to address skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin quality. It may also assist with volume loss, texture irregularities, and, in certain applications, targeted fat reduction.
Q: Which areas can be treated?
A: Exion can be used on both the face and body, including areas such as the cheeks, jawline, under-eye region, abdomen, and thighs. Treatment areas are selected and tailored to your individual concerns.
Q: What are the different Exion handpieces and what do they do?
A: Exion uses a range of specialised handpieces designed to target different concerns and depths within the skin. Your treatment will be tailored by Dr Shammi using one or a combination of the below, depending on your presentation.
The face applicator focuses on skin laxity, fine lines, and overall skin quality by stimulating collagen and hyaluronic acid production.
The RF microneedling applicator combines radiofrequency with targeted delivery into the skin to improve texture, scarring, and more advanced signs of ageing, taking traditional microneedling further through AI-assisted energy delivery.
The body applicator is used to improve skin laxity and, in selected areas, may assist with contouring and targeted fat reduction.
Smaller precision applicators allow for treatment of delicate areas such as around the eyes, where more refined correction is required.
Q: Is there any downtime?
A: Exion typically involves minimal to no downtime, depending on the handpiece used. With non-ablative treatments, some clients may experience mild redness or warmth, which usually settles within a few hours. With RF microneedling, redness and a mild grid-like pattern may be present for 2–4 days, during which time it is best to avoid important social commitments & makeup for 24 hours.
Q: Does Exion require a consultation?
