THE PROCESS
The Consultation
You will undergo a personalised assessment with Dr Shammi to determine your suitability for the Hair Loss Protocol.
During this consultation, she will take a detailed history and examine the scalp and follicles using dermatoscopic imaging to assess underlying changes not visible to the naked eye.
Based on this evaluation, Dr Shammi will prescribe a tailored approach, which may include her Hair Loss Protocol or alternative options such as oral therapy, lifestyle adjustments, or a staged combination for optimal outcomes.
Consultations are available in-clinic or via telehealth, with all treatments performed in Melbourne and Sydney.

The Treatment
The Dr Shammi Hair Protocol is prescribed as individual sessions, typically spaced 12 weeks apart. While two sessions are commonly recommended, the number of treatments is determined based on individual assessment and response.
The protocol is performed by a registered nurse trained by Dr Shammi Theesan, with each treatment taking approximately 45 minutes.
A follow-up consultation is usually scheduled 12 weeks after your final session. Outcomes vary between individuals. Treatments are delivered in Melbourne and Sydney.
The Price
An initial consultation is $370 for new clients, with the fee redeemable toward treatment.
The Hair Protocol Treatment starts from $1,650 per session, with total costs varying depending on the number of treatments and whether prescription medication is included.
Review consultations are $265.
Medicare rebates for the consultation are subject to eligibility criteria. The consultation fee may be credited toward treatment, subject to terms and conditions.
