THE PROCESS
The Consultation
You will have a personal assessment with Dr Shammi to develop a tailored treatment plan for pigmentation or melasma.
Melasma is a complex pigmentary condition that requires careful medical management. Treating only the visible pigmentation without addressing the underlying drivers often results in short-term improvement, with recurrence over time. In some cases, inappropriate laser use without a full clinical understanding of the condition may also trigger rebound pigmentation.
For this reason, treatment is guided by a structured medical approach. This may include a combination of prescription-based therapies and in-clinic treatments, selected according to your skin and presentation. Dr Shammi will discuss all appropriate options with you during your consultation.
Skincare and lifestyle factors are also reviewed as part of your plan to support longer-term stability and improved outcomes.
The consultation fee may be credited toward treatment, subject to our terms and conditions.
The Treatment
You will be provided with a tailored plan that may include laser treatments, a prescription-based skincare routine, and lifestyle recommendations.
With your consent, our team can also schedule any recommended future in-clinic appointments before you leave.
Skincare products can be purchased on the day where available. If a recommended product is not stocked in clinic, we will advise suitable external suppliers. If your routine includes prescription-based products, our team will recommend reputable compound pharmacies.

The treatment for pigmentation and melasma is guided by Dr Shammi’s clinical

treatment intervals, and skin preparation. The clinician’s technique is tailored to these instructions to ensure targeted improvement of brown discolouration while maintaining skin safety and integrity.
PicoCare
ADDRESS SCARRING AND SURROUNDING DISCOLOURATION
A laser-based approach is used within Dr Shammi’s clinical framework to address melasma, scarring, pores, and sun damage. Each treatment is guided by detailed skin assessment, with parameters tailored to support controlled correction of pigment and texture. The aim is gradual restoration of clarity and refinement through clinical judgement and precise application.
BBL - Broad Band Light
HIGH INTENSITY LIGHT THERAPY FOR SUN DAMAGE
Treatment parameters are individually programmed by Dr Shammi and delivered
by our clinicians using carefully structured techniques. Each session is guided
by clinical judgement, with settings tailored to support gradual improvement in
redness, visible signs of ageing, and the appearance of pigmentation over time.
HALO®
THE GOLD STANDARD LASER FOR TRANSFORMATIVE RESULTS
For clients who value advanced approaches to pigmentation and anti ageing skin renewal, treatment is guided not by the device itself, but by precision of application. Outcomes are determined by Dr Shammi’s clinical judgement in selecting Halo settings for pigmentation and ageing concerns, and by clinician technique in delivery. When performed with this level of expertise, it can meaningfully improve pigmentation, tone and overall skin ageing concerns.
